Kalahari Safaris is headquartered along side the boundary of the World Famous Central Kalahari Game Reserve this massive Botswana National Park covers an area of 52,800 square kilometers (20,400 square miles)
During your stay with us we can arrange day tours to this unique and beautiful national treasure.
Our day tours into this complex semi-desert ecosystem will include a professional guide with a 4×4 vehicle so we are able to move around freely in and around the park. Lunch and plenty of cold beverages are included throughout the day as you enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.
If time allows we can organize a romantic dinner in the bush while out on one of our evening drives, if interested please let us know.
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is home to vast amounts of Botswana Wildlife such as: Elephants, Wild Dogs, Lions, Cheetah, Leopard, Kudu, Springbuck, Gemsbok, Eland, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Warthog, Duiker, Steenbok and Giraffe to name some of the big game that you can typically see during a day tour, along with all the different bird and small game species.
The dry season is May through November, with May and June being cool in the early mornings and during the evenings so bring warm clothes at that time of the year, one big benefit is that there are virtually no insects out because of the temperatures swings, from July towards November the temperature is rising each day and as we move closer to the rainy season the humidity also increases. Regardless of which month you come to visit us at Kalahari Safaris, our camps all have air conditioning ensuring a good night’s sleep.

For those touring Botswana or the reserve independently and just need a campsite we can accommodate you, our camping sites include firewood, hot showers and bathrooms.
