ABOUT KALAHARI SAFARIS
Botswana Plains Game Hunting & Dangerous Game Hunting Safaris
At Kalahari Safaris, we specialize in Botswana hunting safaris, offering African plains game hunting and dangerous game hunting for first-time safari hunters and experienced hunters alike. Whether your goal is a trophy kudu, a multi-species plains game safari, or the challenge of a Cape buffalo hunt, we help you explore hunting opportunities that match your interests.
We understand the excitement of planning an African hunting safari—the anticipation of the stalk, the challenge of pursuing your chosen species, and the memories made in the bush. Hunting is our focus, and your goals are the starting point for planning your adventure.
WHO WE ARE
Our Story, Values & Approach
African Plains Game Hunting in Botswana
Our Botswana plains game hunting opportunities include trophy kudu, eland, wildebeest, gemsbok (gemsbuck), zebra, giraffe, impala, springbok (springbuck), red hartebeest, warthog, bush duiker, and steenbok.
Whether you have one particular trophy in mind or want to pursue several species during your African plains game safari, contact us to discuss your hunting list, preferred dates, and available options.
Botswana Dangerous Game Hunting
For hunters seeking a different level of challenge, Kalahari Safaris offers dangerous game hunting opportunities for Cape buffalo, elephant, lion, and leopard, as well as hyena hunting.
An African dangerous game safari requires detailed planning. We invite you to discuss your target species, hunting experience, and expectations with us so we can explain the available arrangements and requirements for your intended hunt.
Species availability depends on the hunting area, safari dates, applicable regulations, permits, and quotas. Contact us for the current details of any species-specific hunt.
Your Hunting Goals Shape Your Safari
Every hunting trip begins with a conversation. We want to know which species you hope to pursue, how much time you have, and what matters most to your experience.
Whether you are planning a dedicated plains game hunt, a dangerous game safari, or a trip combining available hunting opportunities, clear communication helps you prepare. We work with you to discuss hunting options, accommodation, travel arrangements, and costs before booking.

OUR HOME PROPERTY
20,000 Acres In The Central Kalahari
Kalahari Safaris’ primary property is a 20,000-acre home base in the
Central Kalahari, directly owned and managed by Kalahari Safaris and
home to our completed lodge, chalets and staff quarters.
Beyond the home property, we access further hunting opportunities —
including elephant and Cape buffalo areas near the Okavango system —
through established partner concessions elsewhere in Botswana. Each
area is matched to the right species, accommodation and support team.
CONSERVATION
Conservation & Community
Off-Grid & Self-Sufficient
Our home property operates entirely off- grid, with its own water, power and infrastructure supporting the lodge and field operations.
Ongoing Wildlife Monitoring
Game numbers and land condition are monitored continuously, so hunting on our property stays sustainable, season after season.
Community-Linked Quotas
Dangerous-game hunting elsewhere in Botswana operates under government-set conservation quotas that also support local communities — see Dangerous Game Hunting for how that system works.
